The Heavy Pets
The Heavy Pets
The Heavy Pets are an American rock band whose contagious vibe blends rhythm and blues, jazz-funk, nu-disco and reggae fusion with rock & roll. Called "a living, breathing, force of nature" by Relix Magazine, the Pets are known for their soulful song-craft and the powerhouse live performances of their infectious dance songs. Riding high on their most recent studio effort, the A/B single Two Horses, look out for The Heavy Pets as they continue to hit the road hard.

The group became an instant Sirius radio sensation in 2007 with the release of their doubledisc debut album, Whale, driven by hit tracks "Operation of Flight" and "Sleep." First embraced by the jam scene for their raw talent, their crossover sound that is showcased on their self-titled album, also dubbed a "Top 10 Album of 2010" by The Huffington Post, propelled them into the periphery of mainstream music. Returning to their acoustic roots on Swim Out Past the Sun (2011), THP's guitar duo set aside their electric axes for a more organic approach. The Heavy Pets followed up those polished efforts by releasing the Everywhere Sessions: Volume 1 EP, recorded live in the studio with accompanying videos of the three songs "Chew," "Help Me Help You" and "The Day the Sun Forgot to Rise."

Major festival darlings, THP have taken the stage at Bonnaroo, Jam Cruise, High Sierra, Gathering of the Vibes, All Good, Wakarusa, Mountain Jam, Bear Creek, Summer Camp, Catskill Chill, AURA and their namesake PetZoo.

Guavatron
Guavatron
Born and raised in South Florida, Guavatron formed in 2013 and began creating their own unique sound. With influences from all spectrums of music, Guavatron emphasizes on fusing genres together with seamless transitions and evolving improvisation.

Shortly after forming, they began playing shows and focused on creating sets that varied from previous shows, giving the audience something new every time. After a couple years of playing shows and writing, they shifted their focus to a self titled studio EP which was recorded at Power Station Recording Studio. With songs such as "Then I Would" and "Hot Sauce", the EP briefly represents the range of Guavatron.

After a successful studio debut, Guavatron is back to writing and playing shows and festivals across the state. Make sure to find your way to the ever evolving dance party that is the essence of Guavatron when they are nearby. Until then, much love, much guava.
Electric Kif
Electric Kif
ELECTRIC - having or producing a sudden sense of thrilling excitement
KIF - any agent [or music] capable of producing a euphoric condition

"Hailing from Miami, Electric Kif and their undeniable spunk has caught the attention of music lovers through their execution of cosmic funk, rock, soul, and jazz. Their taste and talent bring an unparalleled energy and sound to the stage that inevitably creates a uniquely raw experience through every performance.” - Live for Live Music

Electric Kif are a band who came together to perform music as an outlet in between sideman and session gigs with other artists ranging from Matt Scofield to Flo Rida…and many more in between. After a couple of years of hosting these well known jams in Miami, with numerous talented guest musicians joining them, the members realized their original music was taking its own form and getting a great response from those who heard it. They decided to write more, record again, and perform more of the KIF material.

The band come together creatively from very different backgrounds. Jason Matthews on keys proudly hails from Philadelphia, Rodrigo Zambrano on bass is from Mexico City, Eric Escances on guitar from is Grenoble & Bordeaux, France, and Armando Lopez on drums from Miami. Their training and experience combined was bound to generate something special…but their energy and dedication has taken Electric Kif to another level. Following a performance at one of the festivals, they looked at each other and knew Electric Kif was their calling. Fast forward to 2016… the band had new recordings under way, started playing outside of Miami, and shifted their focus to launch Electric Kif nationally.

Armed with their latest EP, Heist, which was recorded, produced by the quartet in their home studio, and mixed at City Of Progress Studio in N. Miami, they are thrilled to release this music with distribution partners La Reserve Records (http://www.lareserverecords.com/roster/electric-kif). “La Reserve is proud to have partnered with Electric Kif this year. As a new company focused on the music of tomorrow, sourcing and curating the most cutting edge arts from around the world - Electric Kif was a perfect fit with our vision” says Greg Mathews, founder of La Reserve.

The Kif have performed with national acts such as Snarky Puppy, Kung Fu, The Main Squeeze, Naughty Professor, Stratosphere All-Stars, TR3 featuring Tim Reynolds, The Fritz, Progger, and Killiam Shakespeare, as well as South Florida’s finest Roosevelt Collier and The Heavy Pets through a series of deep south and northeast runs. With the start of 2017 they were honored to be invited to perform at the first annual Ground Up Festival, the Okeechobee Festival with Roosevelt Collier’s Allstar Band, to represent the best of Florida musicians at Orange Blossom Jamboree, to play the prestigious Rochester International Jazz Festival, and more. They will kick off their second national tour in June 2017, to support their latest release.
