The Heavy Pets
The Heavy Pets
The Heavy Pets are a funked-up rock and roll band from South Florida. Called "a living, breathing force of nature" by Relix magazine, they are known for their songcraft and powerhouse live performances. The band has been a mainstay on the national touring circuit for over a decade, and released its fourth full-length studio album Strawberry Mansion in February 2018.

The Pets are a seasoned live act, playing over 1200 shows across the country since their inception in 2005. The band's energetic, extended sets have been described as "full blown musical salvation" that embodies the sound of their Florida home, weaving together elements of indie rock, funk and reggae into a style that is uniquely their own.

The group became an instant Sirius radio sensation upon the release of their debut album Whale in 2007. The crossover sound on their self-titled release, named a "Top 10 Album of 2010" by The Huffington Post, propelled them into the periphery of mainstream music. 2011 saw the release of Swim Out Past The Sun, an acoustic affair featuring longtime Jerry Garcia collaborator David Grisman. Beginning in 2013, the band put out a series of three EPs recorded at the legendary Power Station studios.

The Heavy Pets are currently touring in support of their latest release, Strawberry Mansion. Recorded in South Florida over the course of 2017, the self-produced double LP is the culmination of twelve years as a full-time act, presenting the band’s writing and musical versatility in peak form. The album is the truest representation of the unmistakable sound they are renowned for, and has logged over 1.5 million streams on Spotify in the year since its release.
Roosevelt Collier Band
Roosevelt Collier Band
Soft spoken by nature, South Florida-bred ROOSEVELT COLLIER does his hollering on the pedal steel guitar. Brought up in the "sacred steel" tradition of the House of God Church, Roosevelt built his reputation alongside his uncles and cousins in The Lee Boys, known for their spirited, soul-shaking live performances. Seated front and center, "The Dr." leaves an indelible mark on listeners, flooring audiences with his lightning-fast slide work on the pedal steel.

At festivals, he is a regular "Artist at Large," performing alongside many of music's most prestigious acts, from the Allman Brothers, Tedeschi-Trucks, Los Lobos , the Del McCoury Band and countless others. In 2017, Roosevelt debuted his new project Bokanté - a "World Music All-Star Band" created by Snarky Puppy founder Michael League and featuring the vocals of Malika Tirolien.

As a bandleader, Roosevelt leads his world famous "get-downs" featuring a mixture of "superstars and church folk", his own "Jimi Hendrix Experiment"-style all-star trio, and in 2018 has released the long-awaited Roosevelt Collier debut record, featuring an incredible mixture of blues, gospel, rock, and funk all rolled up by producer and bandmate Michael League.
TAND
TAND
Tand is a collision of two musical worlds from the past smashing together to create a sum greater than its parts.
The journey (swimming us) to Tand was started by an inaugural backyard jam between Taylor Godsey (Guitar), Peter Krause (Bass) and drummer Elliott Day somewhere around 2013 in Pompano Beach that would later lead to the formation of Sawgrass Express. Sawgrass would go on to build a strong local following in South Florida, later disbanding as senior member and principle songwriter Tripp Gray moved out of state.

Taylor was then introduced to keyboardist Daryl Wolff (Cypress, El Groundscoro, The BOSS Project) and one of the area’s premier rock drummers, Ali Nassar (Merry FranksterZ, Two Story Double Wide, Kinlin, Kezia, 40 Below Summer, Supergrub - which featured Ben Kenney from Incubus, etc.) to form Fugu. In the 18 months Fugu was together, they shared the stage with national acts like Perpetual Groove, Kung Fu, and The Nth Power, and made a festival appearance at Florida festival Orange Blossom Jamboree, all the while building a strong local following of friends and fans, new and old.
In October of 2017, Taylor and Pete lost dear friend, bandmate, and aforementioned Tripp Gray. The loss would inspire new music - that music providing solace through the difficult times. Eventually, the answer became clear: combine the musical worlds of the past to create something based around new originals, as well as old music written by Taylor for the previous two bands, while also featuring original music from the late, great Tripp Gray.

Our number one priority is for you to enjoy yourselves in our presence. Funky spirited, high energy, improvisational, dancing rock and roll with heart and soul. If that sounds like something you’d be into, come check us out.
